This is a round wire that has then been FLATTENED into a flat wire dimension.

This is the exact same quality as our standard round wire. In other words it's pretty amazing.

In modern times it has found popularity in the vaping industry due to it's high heat and electrical resistance.

80/20 nickel chromium alloy is often used for wrought and cast parts for high temperature applications, as it has better oxidation and hot corrosion resistance compared to cheaper iron-nickel-chromium alloys. This nickel chromium alloy is highly suited to applications that are subject to oxidation.
